Children’s Pottery Courses

We have begun registering for the course beginning Saturday September 23rd

Course Contents

Classes are offered at our studio in the Mile end on Saturday afternoon. Students will learn basic hand building techniques with no limit to creativity. We will use tools and our hands to sculpt, pinch, coil and slab-build several projects out of clay. In Week 4 we will decorate the pieces using non-toxic ceramic glazes. In the final class will be to take the finished work out of the kiln and discuss each work, and share a potluck to celebrate what’s been created.

We offer 5-week classes for children on the weekend. Courses are offered in English.

Students 7 to 13 years old are welcome, though younger students may come with an older sibling in the age range. Parents are not required to chaperone the class, but are always welcome.
